Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician will perform all maintenance duties.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform routine building maintenance duties, including mechanical repairs, hand sealing, painting, minor electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and heating and ventilation systems maintenance.
Complete administrative duties, such as filling out forms and reporting maintenance statuses to supervisor.
Comply with all food safety quality and health & safety regulations.
Maintain continuous water supply, including taps and toilets.
Oversee the maintenance of lockers, trolley bins, curtains, windows, doors, and stools.
Ensure proper functioning of fly-killing devices and emergency lights.
Conduct verification, upkeep, and repair of all site equipment and buildings.
Liaise with suppliers for repairs and maintenance needs.
Carry out general repairs as required.
Design a Preventive Maintenance Programme and ensure compliance to the programme.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
Keep tools and spare parts secure and conduct regular inventory checks.
Coordinate with the Procurement Officer for purchase orders and ensure optimal stock level.
Ensure contractors complete required documentation, including work permits and visitor questionnaires.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualification & Competencies:-

knowledge of maintenance and repair work in mechanical systems and electrical fields, plumbing and carpentry (including relevant equipment and tools) is a plus.
5+ years of experience.
Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Good organizational and record-keeping abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical fitness and ability to carry out manual tasks.
Basic knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.
May be required to work outside of normal work hours.
