We are seeking a Maintenance Specialist to support the planning, coordination, and monitoring of building maintenance and infrastructure works. The role involves supervising maintenance activities, managing contractors, maintaining records, and ensuring facilities remain safe and operational.

MUR 47,390 x 1,820 – 72,870 x 2,160 – 81,510, plus salary compensation at approved rates.
A Degree in a relevant field,

An equivalent qualification acceptable to the Board.
At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant field.
Proven experience in the maintenance of building services and infrastructure.
Strong technical and analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure.
High level of attention to detail.
Teamwork and collaboration skills.
Good organisation and time management abilities.
Interpersonal and communication skills.
Management and leadership capabilities.
Fluency in English and French.
Computer literacy.
The Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for the following:
Assist in monitoring a preventive maintenance programme to ensure that infrastructural facilities are maintained in a good state of repair.
Assist in the procurement process and supervision of engineering works carried out by contractors.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work related to infrastructural facilities.
Undertake emergency interventions and temporary repairs prior to the completion of works by maintenance contractors.
Plan, organise, and supervise construction, maintenance, and repair activities, including estimating quantities and costs of building materials and labour required for project execution.
Perform any other duties directly related to the role or required to ensure the effective delivery of outputs and results expected from the incumbent.
