Coordinate all MEP activities with civil, structural, and architectural teams. Review MEP drawings, plans, and specifications for accuracy and compliance. Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers for technical inputs.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning & Execution:
Prepare and monitor MEP work schedules to align with the overall project timeline.
Supervise on-site installations to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
Verify that installations conform to design, safety, and local code requirements.
Technical Oversight:
Conduct design reviews and provide value engineering solutions where applicable.
Manage MEP-related RFIs (Request for Information), approvals, and submittals.
Ensure proper coordination of utilities and service systems (HVAC, fire fighting, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
Quality & Compliance:
Implement and monitor MEP quality assurance and control plans.
Ensure work is executed according to contract specifications and safety regulations.
Support inspections and testing of MEP systems during and after installation.
Communication & Reporting:
Provide regular updates to the Project Manager on MEP progress, challenges, and solutions.
Document and report on site issues and resolution status.
Coordinate handover and commissioning activities.
Cost Management:
Assist in the preparation and verification of BOQs and cost estimates for MEP works.
Review variation orders and claims related to MEP installations
