 AEROW is looking for a skilled and proactive Linux System Administrator to strengthen our team.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our clients’ Linux environments. You’ll take ownership of daily system operations, contribute to incident resolution, and drive continuous improvements across infrastructure.

You’ll also serve as a key point of contact for Level 2 support, collaborating closely with clients to resolve Linux-related issues and optimize their systems.

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Linux servers (RedHat, Ubuntu, etc.)
• Perform system upgrades, patching, and kernel updates
• Monitor performance and ensure system availability
• Troubleshoot system, app, and network issues
• Handle user access and security policies
• Support production deployments and operations
• Automate tasks using shell scripts or Ansible
• Collaborate on CI/CD and system integration
• Maintain documentation and respond to incidents

Provide Level 2 support and client communication

Skills & Requirements

Must-have:

• Proven experience in Linux system administration (2+ years ideally).
• Strong knowledge of shell scripting (bash, sh, etc.).
• Good understanding of networking, firewalls, and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, etc.).
• Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, etc.).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Good communication and reporting.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes or ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow).
• Knowledge of NGINX/Apache, database systems (MySQL/PostgreSQL), and backup tools.

 Nice-to-have:

• Experience with virtualization (VMware, KVM) or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Exposure to container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
