Line Quality Controller

To Ensure that incoming raw materials are conform, finished products are bottled, labelled, and packed as per specifications and requirements of our integrated management system.

Key/Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure that production starts with correct raw materials and validate the first finished products.
• To withdraw samples from the Bottling Line on a pre-determined basis and measure the volume contained in each sample. The Volume measured must be within set parameters, and ensure any deviation is corrected.
• To retrieve samples from the Bottling Line on a pre-determined basis and verify if the packaging (Bottle, cap, cork, label, surcapsule, outer carton, canister, crate, and any related packaging material) complies with the Reference Sample.
• Ensure Reference sample is up to date.
• To perform line inspection during production to ensure clean glass bottles and raw materials (in good condition) are used for bottling and packing purposes.
• Immediately inform any serious deviations (stop of production line) to Quality Officer for follow up.
• Report to QSE Specialist on a daily, with checklist and Inspection sheets filled correctly and accordingly.
• Record any non-conformances/ non-compliances in inspection sheets, forms, or any other record sheets and inform supervisors immediately for corrective actions. Follow up to ensure that corrective actions are done.
• To supervise Verification team for Raw Materials, finished products and other related criteria when required and give verification report.
• To inspect raw materials delivered by the Store Raws to the Bottling Section and record data.
• To verify that employees are abiding to good hygiene practices during bottling and packing and record for any non-compliances.

• At least School Certificate, preferably with a science background.
• Punctuality.
