As an IT Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for end-users requiring technical assistance
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing Service Desk tickets and resolving issues within defined SLAs.
- Providing technical support to users via email, MS Teams, or Skype.
- Troubleshooting through diagnostic tools and targeted questioning.
- Escalating unresolved issues to the appropriate IT support level.
- Assisting in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of workstations (notebooks) and related IT equipment.
- Collaborating with Group IT to remotely manage and troubleshoot local IT infrastructure (systems and networks).
- Contributing to the improvement of procedures and documentation.
- Maintaining and updating the IT record-keeping system.
- Supporting inventory tracking for IT equipment and materials.
- Preparing regular reports.
- Performing additional duties as required, such as delivering IT onboarding/training for new employees.
Your Profile
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in IT Support or Service Desk roles.
- Fluency in both English and French (spoken and written).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong team spirit and a collaborative mindset.
