We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Infrastructure Lead to take ownership of our Client's IT infrastructure operations, with a strong focus on maintaining system uptime, performance, and scalability.
As Infrastructure Lead, you’ll oversee infrastructure strategy and delivery, drive automation and reliability initiatives, and lead a team to support both on-prem and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage reliable infrastructure solutions across Linux systems
- Ensure continuous availability of infrastructure supporting 24x7x365 operations
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and system optimizations
- Automate infrastructure processes using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform
- Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams to support business growth
- Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence
- Manage vendor relationships and maintain infrastructure compliance
Requirements
- Strong expertise with Linux-based systems (RedHat, CentOS, Debian)
- 5+ years of infrastructure or systems engineering experience in enterprise environments
- Experience managing high-availability systems in 24x7x365 settings
- Knowledge of networking, firewalls, DNS, load balancers, and storage
- Scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Leadership experience or aptitude to lead cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Certifications such as RHCE, AWS SysOps Administrator, or similar
