Preskil Island Resort is looking for a dynamic Housekeeping Attendant to join its team and provide excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities:
Clean and service assigned guest rooms and suites daily, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and restocking amenities.
Sanitize bathrooms, replace towels and toiletries, and ensure all surfaces are spotless and hygienic.
Maintain cleanliness in corridors, housekeeping pantries, and public spaces as required.
Respect guest privacy and comply with "Do Not Disturb" signs and room entry procedures.
Replenish in-room supplies such as glassware, minibar items, stationery, and linen.
Report maintenance issues, damages, or any unusual room conditions to the supervisor immediately.
Properly handle lost and found items in accordance with hotel policy.
Ensure housekeeping carts are stocked, tidy, and safely stored at all times.
Follow health and safety regulations, including correct use of cleaning chemicals and protective equipment.
Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor with guests and colleagues
Prior experience in a similar housekeeping or room attendant role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and high personal standards for cleanliness and presentation.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and follow established procedures.
Good physical condition; able to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
Flexible with working hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Basic communication skills; ability to understand and follow verbal or written instructions in English or French.
A positive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure guest satisfaction.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety standards is an asset.
