Key Responsibilities

Safety and Security

  • Incident Reporting: Report work-related accidents or injuries immediately to management.
  • Safety Compliance: Identify and rectify unsafe work conditions; adhere to safety policies to ensure a secure environment.
  • Emergency Procedures: Follow specific protocols for emergencies such as evacuations and medical situations.
  • Equipment Safety: Use proper equipment and wear personal protective clothing (PPE).
  • Training: Complete necessary safety training and certifications.
  • Surveillance: Maintain awareness of any undesirable individuals on the premises.

Policies and Procedures

  • Confidentiality: Protect the privacy of guests and coworkers; maintain confidentiality of company information.
  • Professional Appearance: Ensure uniform and personal appearance meet company standards.
  • Asset Protection: Safeguard company tools and equipment in accordance with policies.

Guest Relations

  • Service Excellence: Address guest needs professionally and promptly.
  • Warm Greetings: Welcome guests with a smile and use their names when possible.
  • Active Listening: Respond positively to guest inquiries and anticipate their needs.
  • Assistance for Disabilities: Provide support to individuals with disabilities as needed.
  • Engagement: Engage guests in conversation about their stay and local attractions.

Communication

  • Professional Interaction: Use clear and professional language with guests and coworkers.
  • Information Exchange: Effectively communicate with team members and manage phone etiquette.
  • Documentation: Prepare and review written documents for accuracy.

Assisting Management

  • Employee Training: Ensure hourly employees are trained on core values and job responsibilities.
  • Role Model: Serve as a mentor to employees, guiding them in their tasks.
  • Task Coordination: Assign and monitor work tasks to meet quality standards.
  • Feedback: Listen to employee suggestions for improvements and collaborate with management to implement changes.

Event Supervision

  • Service Coordination: Communicate service needs during events and ensure staff collaboration.
  • Banquet Preparation: Ensure readiness of banquet rooms and service areas prior to events.

Bartending

  • Responsible Service: Adhere to state and local laws for serving alcohol and document any incidents.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience: Min of 2 years in a related work experience

  • Supervisory Experience: Min of 1 year of supervisory experience is required
