Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain lawns, flower beds, shrubs, trees, and landscaped areas to a high standard
• Perform regular mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, and weeding
• Plant, transplant, and care for seasonal and perennial plants
• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides in accordance with safety guidelines
• Monitor plant health and identify pests, diseases, or deficiencies
• Irrigate plants and manage watering systems effectively
• Operate and maintain gardening tools and machinery (e.g. mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers)
• Assist in landscape design improvements and seasonal planting plans
• Clear pathways, remove debris, and ensure grounds are tidy at all times
• Support waste management and composting activities where applicable
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or grounds maintenance
• Knowledge of plants, horticulture techniques, and seasonal care practices
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely
• Good physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Experience working on large estates, parks, or commercial landscapes
• Basic irrigation system knowledge
• Valid certificate of good character / morality certificate
