-Diagnosing and troubleshooting malfunctions in refrigeration and air conditioning systems. -Repairing or replacing defective components such as compressors, motors, fans, valves, and controls.

• Installing new refrigeration equipment such as cold rooms, freezers, display cases, ice machines, and air conditioning units (split systems, central systems, etc.).
• Connecting electrical wiring and refrigerant lines according to safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Ensuring proper insulation and sealing of refrigeration systems.
• Charging systems with the correct type and amount of refrigerant.
• Testing the installed systems for leaks and proper operation.
• Conducting regular inspections and preventative maintenance on all refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. 

This includes:

• Checking and adjusting refrigerant levels.
• Inspecting and cleaning coils (condenser and evaporator).
• Checking and tightening electrical connections.
• Lubricating moving parts.
• Replacing filters and belts.
• Inspecting and repairing ductwork and vents for air conditioning systems.
• Checking and ensuring the proper functioning of defrost cycles in refrigeration units.
• Inspecting and maintaining door seals on cold rooms and freezers. 
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting malfunctions in refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Repairing or replacing defective components such as compressors, motors, fans, valves, and controls.
• Brazing or soldering pipes to repair leaks.
• Performing mechanical overhauls of refrigeration equipment.
• Reclaiming and recycling refrigerants according to environmental regulations.
• Monitoring the efficiency of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Identifying and implementing measures to improve energy efficiency and reduce operating costs.
