We are seeking a reliable Driver/Messenger to provide safe transport, deliver correspondence, maintain vehicles, and support office operations. The role requires a valid driving licence, good organisational skills, and the ability to assist with administrative and reception duties.
The selected candidate will report to the HR & Administration Specialist and will not have any supervisory responsibilities.
MUR 19,760 x 350 – 21,510 x 430 – 23,660 x 550 – 26,410 x 680 – 27,770 x 850 – 37,120, plus salary compensation at approved rates.
Ability to read up to PSAC level.
1–2 years of experience in a relevant field with a clean driving record.
Holding a valid driving licence to drive cars, vans and buses.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Good organisation and time management skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Basic written and spoken English and French.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Driving company motor vehicles efficiently by day and night in strict compliance with road traffic regulations.
Ensuring the assigned vehicle is kept clean, tidy, and in good running condition.
Maintaining and updating vehicle logbooks.
Reporting any vehicle defects or issues to the responsible officer.
Opening and closing office premises when required.
Cleaning office premises, including furniture and office equipment.
Dispatching and collecting letters and correspondence.
Preparing and serving tea, coffee, and other refreshments.
Monitoring the premises during business hours, welcoming visitors and directing them accordingly.
Providing support at the reception desk as and when required.
Operating photocopying machines.
Performing any other duties directly related to the role or required for the effective delivery of expected outputs and results.
