Draughtsperson

We are seeking a Draughtsperson to create accurate technical and reinforcement drawings from engineers’ designs.

The General Construction Company is hiring a Draughtsperson!

We’re looking for a skilled professional to prepare technical drawings, layouts, and reinforcement plans, and to transform engineers’ sketches into precise, accurate plans.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Prepare layout and reinforcement drawings, sketches, and bending schedules as instructed by the Supervising Engineer or Projects Team.

• Survey and measure existing structures, accurately reproducing them in technical drawings.

• Translate engineers’ sketches and conceptual drawings into precise technical plans.

• Verify and review drawings, sketches, and bending schedules for accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.

• Ensure all client requirements are delivered on time and within budget.

Candidate Profile:

• Qualification in Draughtsmanship.

• Minimum 8+ years min experience in structural and reinforcement drawings.

• Proficient in AutoCAD (all features) and REVIT.

• Knowledge of Covadis is an advantage.
