The Corporate & Trust Accounting Officer is responsible for maintaining accounting records and preparing financial reports for a portfolio of corporate entities and trusts. The role supports accurate financial reporting while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accounting records for a portfolio of corporate entities and trusts.
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping including posting journals, invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
- Prepare management accounts and annual financial statements.
- Complete all day-to-day matters in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Effect statutory filings with MRA, FSC, ROC and other statutory bodies.
- Ensure high quality service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or ACCA Level 2.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience preferably within a management company.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software & Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good written and spoken communications skills.
