Preskil Island Resort is seeking a diligent and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of all resort areas, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize public areas, including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, dining areas, and offices.
Sweep, mop, vacuum floors, and maintain cleanliness of carpets and mats.
Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste according to resort procedures.
Clean glass surfaces, windows, and mirrors to maintain a spotless appearance.
Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in restrooms and public areas.
Report any maintenance issues, damage, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
Follow established health and safety protocols, including the correct handling of cleaning chemicals.
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working order and storage.
Assist housekeeping or maintenance teams as needed during busy periods.
Exhibit professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with guests and staff.
Previous experience as a cleaner or janitorial staff is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
Good physical condition; able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to contribute to a team environment.
