Chemical Store Officer

We are currently looking for a Chemical Store Officer

Created in 1989 and a member of CIEL Textile, CDL is a fully integrated knitting, dyeing and finishing mill located in Forest Side.  With a workforce of 300, CDL produces fabric for the fine knits garment-making industry. We are currently looking for a Chemical Store Officer.

What you will be doing:

• Ensure zero obsolete products in the store - FIFO (First In, First Out)
• Redundant chemistries or areas of excessive use should be identified
• Ensure that there is no incident on closing orders due to wrong or missing entry
• All delivery of chemicals done to production should be issued for the proper batch
• Ensure zero leakage in DCA due to missing entries
• Good management of chemicals/salt/dyes delivery to production
• Participate in projects with regards to continuous process improvement in store

What are we looking for?

• Minimum SC
• 2 years of similar experience is preferable but not a prerequisite
• Experience in management of chemical stocks will be considered as an advantage
• Good knowledge on MS tools
• Good written and verbal communication
• Analytical skills
• Proactive
• Ability to work in a team to improve efficiency.
• Technical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously
