Carpenter

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Carpenter to carry out a range of carpentry and woodwork maintenance tasks across the resort. The role involves both preventative and new installations and ensuring all wooden fixtures, furniture, and fittings are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and maintenance of doors, windows, furniture, decking, wooden structures, and fixtures.

• Assist with the fabrication and installation of woodworks for new projects and refurbishments.

• Respond efficiently to daily maintenance requests from guest rooms and public areas.

• Work closely with other trades within the Engineering team to ensure seamless maintenance service delivery.

• Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner, safely, and in line with hotel quality standards.

• Maintain an accurate log of works completed and materials used.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a carpenter, ideally in a hotel or resort environment.

• Technical certificate or diploma in carpentry or woodwork.

• Excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.

• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Flexible with working hours, including weekends and public holidays.
