Proven experience as a bartender or in a related hospitality role. Knowledge of mixology and classic cocktail recipes. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with bar equipment and POS systems.
Prepare and serve drinks according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Take and serve drink and food orders accurately and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, glassware, and tools.
Monitor the stock of bar supplies and communicate needs to the manager.
Follow responsible alcohol service policies and check customer IDs when needed.
Handle cash and credit card transactions using POS systems.
Manage opening and closing duties of the bar.
Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails, mocktails, and other specialty beverages.
Maintain knowledge of drink trends, new products, and customer preferences.
