To provide comprehensive technical support in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of both electrical power systems and advanced automation/control systems. The successful candidate will be a versatile "hands-on" professional.

 

Key Responsibilities & Roles

  • System Diagnostics: Perform fault-finding on both electrical power circuits and control automation systems.
  • Installation & Commissioning: Execute on-site works including cabling, wiring, and panel mounting for both electrical and PLC systems.
  • Control & Automation: Configure and program Variable Speed Drives (VSDs), Soft Starters, and instrumentation.
  • Basic Programming: Support automation projects by performing basic PLC programming and troubleshooting device connections.
  • Design & Documentation: Understand and interpret electrical and control schematic drawings

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma/ Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Instrumentation, or Automation).
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in an industrial or engineering environment.
  • Proficiency in electrical wiring and control panel mounting.
    • Knowledge of PLC systems and basic programming logic.
    • Ability to configure industrial drives (VSD/Soft Starters).
  • A valid driving licence would be an advantage.
