About the Role
We’re looking for an Assistant Field Manager to support our delivery operations by ensuring smooth coordination between stores, delivery agents, and customers. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in store and fleet management within a fast-paced logistics or delivery environment and is a proactive leader who can keep operations efficient, organized, and on time.
What You’ll Do
- Assist the Field Manager in overseeing daily delivery operations across multiple regions.
- Manage and schedule the delivery fleet, ensuring vehicles are maintained, compliant, and efficiently utilized.
- Monitor vehicle performance, maintenance schedules.
- Supervise store and warehouse activities, including inventory control, dispatching, and stock accuracy.
- Coordinate between warehouse staff, drivers, and customer service teams to ensure on-time, accurate deliveries.
- Track delivery performance metrics and assist in preparing operational reports.
- Manage delivery agent attendance, performance monitoring, and route planning.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and transport regulations.
- Identify operational challenges and propose process improvements.
- Provide administrative support to the Field Manager, including documentation and data entry.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in store management and/or fleet management, ideally within logistics or delivery operations.
- Strong ability to coordinate multi-site operations and lead field teams.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Solid understanding of logistics operations, route planning, and vehicle maintenance.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in logistics management software, route optimization tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
