Accounts Officer

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage all accounting transactions
  • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closing process
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Ensure timely bank payments
  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
  • Audit financial transactions and documents
  • Comply with financial policies and regulations
  • Operations: Assist the Finance Manager in the day-to-day operations of the department.

Qualifications

  • Degree in related field and/or ACCA level 1

Previous Performance

  • A minimum of 5 years of working experience in the Accounting Environment.
  • A minimum of 2 years of proven working experience in a similar position.

Other Requirements

  • Ability to multitask.
  • Accuracy and a sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to cope with stress.
  • Good written/verbal communication skills in both English
  • Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
  • Ability to manage time & tasks both independently and under supervision.
  • Organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to understand operational processes.

 

Remuneration: The remuneration will commensurate with qualifications and experience
