An exciting opportunity is available for an Internal Accountant to join a growing finance team in Grand Baie. This role has opened due to an internal promotion and offers the chance to work closely with the CFO in optimising finance processes and driving automation within the accounting function.

We are looking for a forward-thinking accountant who enjoys improving systems, using technology, and reducing manual workload through automation and modern tools. 

Key Responsibilities

• Full end-to-end accounting (transactions through to reporting)

• Bank reconciliations and support with automation of high-volume processes

• Cashflow management

• Coordinate financial documentation received via email and ensure correct filing

• Support accounting across Cayman and other international entities

• Assist the CFO with process improvements and workflow automation

Requirements

• Experience in full-function accounting

• Comfortable working in a high-volume environment, especially during peak periods

• Strong systems and process improvement mindset

• Interest in automation, AI, and efficiency tools within finance

• Mandarin speaking advantageous for engagement with Asian clients

• Currently based in Mauritius

This role is 100% office based in Grand Baie and would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment while helping modernise finance operations.
