The Assistant Manager will ensure that the needs and expectations of customers are being satisfied through the provision of excellent customer service and enhancing and promoting customer focus throughout Island Life Assurance Co Ltd, a Currimjee Company.
Main responsibility:
- Improve the customer service experience and create engaged customers
- Ensure efficient and effective communication to customers at all times, via all medium
- Take effective and responsive action on all customer queries, complaints and issues to ensure prompt resolution
- Undertake the elaboration of customer service policies and standards, in collaboration with concerned departments
- Undertake analysis of customer-related statistics/actions/discussions/records in order to generate reports for action
- Act as a coordinator between Sales team & Head Office (HO) for all sales-related support
- Lead and motivate a team of customer service staff
- Assist in developing customer surveys and customer evaluations (e.g. mystery visits), and follow-up on corresponding improvement actions
- Keep abreast of the industry’s developments and apply best practices to customer service
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably in Business or Commerce
- At least 5 years working experience within the Insurance and/or Customer Service field.
- Basic IT knowledge
