The United Basalt Products Ltd is seeking to recruit an assiduous Design & Project Coordinator for its engineering department.

Key responsibilities

•  Conduct surveys, site visits and follow up
• Perform design and drawings on AutoCAD and/or any other design tools
• Produce bill of quantities and material take off
• Inspect the equipment, structures and mechanical items
• Provide technical support and assistance to internal and external customers
• Prepare high level analytical reports and provide solutions as and when required
• Follow up of projects and prepare progress reports as and when required
• Prepare cost estimations and scope of works and/or contracts

Candidate profile

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or any relevant equivalent qualification
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar post
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office tools
• Sound knowledge of mechanical and structural steels design
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in English and French
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Flexibility, ‘Can Do’ Attitude and detail-conscious
• Holder of a valid driving license
