We are looking for a Production Assistant for one of our client.

Job Title: Production Assistant

Job Description:

1. Assist the production manager in his duties,
2. Production control and be present on the floor, expected to be hands on,
3. Responsible for the stock of raw materials and finished goods – entry in control sheets and databases,
4. Liaise with suppliers – for delivery of raw materials,
5. Counting of coconuts upon delivery from suppliers,
6. Ensure delivery of finished goods to our distributor,
7. Ensure that production is according to Good Manufacturing Practices and that employees follow Good Hygiene Practices (GHP)

Profile

• HSC Holder
• At least 1 to 3 years’ experience in the production / manufacturing sector
• Good communication skills (English and French – oral and written)
• Computer Literate (MS Office)
• Stock control
• Honest
• Integrity
• Ability to work under pressure
• Living in the North or Port-louis
