Our client in the financial sector, is looking for an HR Advisor to join the Human Capital team. 

Reporting to the Human Capital Senior Manager, the candidate will provide expert commercial HR advice and support to the business leaders on a broad range of topics including hire to retire, employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, learning and education, health and wellbeing, and data management and reporting.

Your role:

  • You will be required to deliver a first class HR service to drive our People strategy and achieve business excellence;
  • Use extensive skills, knowledge and business acumen in the design of people solutions and initiatives to create a distinctive experience for our people;
  • Manage and deliver standardised HC transactional service delivery by applying principles, frameworks and governance; and
  • Provide front-facing transactional support to business as well as its people on HC matters.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Degree in Human Resources or Management and 3 to 5 years’ experience in an HR generalist role are essential; experience in professional services/large corporates will be an advantage;
  • Commercial understanding of the business and how HR can enhance performance via the people agenda;
  • Experience in supporting and coaching line managers with a strong knowledge and understanding of health & wellbeing, performance management and employee relations etc.;
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, to manage high volumes of work, often within tight deadlines;
  • High standard of written documentation and passion for working as part of a team to display a professional, customer-oriented image of HC;
  • Ability to challenge and streamline HC work to achieve efficiencies;
  • Strong interpersonal/consulting skills, working effectively at all levels of the organisation and a willingness to take on extra responsibility;
  • Strong excel skills and the ability to efficiently manipulate and interpret data;
  • Strong presentations skills with the ability to flex style to have impact both in person or virtually.
