The St. Regis Mauritius is looking for a dynamic Food Hygienist.

 

  • HSC or equivalent
  • Degree in Food Science
  • Atleast 2 years experience in a similar position; hospitality environment would be an added advantage
  • Pleasant & outgoing personality
  • Ready to work odd hours / Sundays / Public Holidays & others
  • Responsible for ensuring overall hygiene activities in the food production areas
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with local regulatory laws / international standards in Food Safety
  • Identify & report structural deficiencies in the food operation
  • Manage & maintain a satisfactory waste disposal system
  • Manage & review food complaints effectively
  • Periodically review the food safety system
  • Food safety documentation & reports should be kept updated at all times
  • Esnure associates are fully aware of high risk areas for the food borne illness
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as directed by Management
