A well established catering business is looking for a Procurement Officer to join its team.
Main Duties:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the job incumbent shall primarily be responsible to:
- monitor vendors for quality, service and price through standard purchasing specifications
- obtain approval for stablished stock levels
- keep records of transaction records
- verify all documentation and proper quotations are maintained and filled according to standard policies and procedures
- ensure that suppliers follow the rules relating to hygiene of goods delivered
- negotiating with external suppliers to secure advantageous terms
- track and reprot key metrics to reduce expenses and improve efficiencies
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management and/or any related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in similar position
Skills & Competencies:
- Good negotiating skills
- Probelm solving and analytical skills
- Competency in MS Office
- Familiarity with GAAP stock management system will be an advantage
