• 5 Years experience in hotels or resorts • Fluent in English and French

• Participate in daily briefings and debriefs in his/her department.

• Keeping the Executive Housekeeper informed about all unusual matters concerning any plans affecting his/her area.

• Supervise grooming, hygiene and cleanliness of uniforms within the Laundry Department.

• Ensure that respective team members are well aware concerning all aspects of health and safety when using chemical products for cleaning purposes and utilization of equipments.

• Assigns specific work with instruction to laundry attendants for washing, drying and ironing of linen

• Ensure all team members are following all procedures as per SOP.

• Ensure all quality procedures are follow-up.

• Pass on repairs to the technical department and check that the orders have been carried out

Monitoring the laundry stores and replenish as and when necessary

• Ensure that there is complete coverage at all times during the shift

• Marks linen for identification, counts and records in register to maintain control

Examines soiled linen and sorts out according to types and colours

• Play an active role in the Housekeeping team and ensure smooth and satisfactory hand-over between shifts

• Maintain effective employee relations

Monitor guests complaints/non-conformances and carry out corrective measures
