Guest Relations Officer-Chinese Speaking

To provide guest services in accordance with the objectives, performance, consistency and quality standards established by Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To provide all hotel guests courteous and efficient service from arrival to departure.
  • To act as a translator for Chinese-speaking guests.
  • To establish relationships with guests to delight and gain loyalty.
  • Handle guest comments and concerns in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of culture and service standards awareness; and acts as role model.
  • Promote all facilities and services offered by the resort.

  Experiences and Qualifications:

  • Higher School Certificate or equivalent qualifications.
  • National Certificate in Front Office or diploma in Tourism Management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication both in Chinese and English.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in similar position.
  • Pleasant personality and excellent customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of Opera would be an advantage.
  • A clean Certificate of Character is a must.
