To clean and ensure cleanliness of kitchen(s), kitchen material and equipments, as well as Restaurant(s), restaurant material and equipments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cleans rack areas
- Checks dishwashing machine, drains tank, refills the tank and ensures that the machine is ready for operation before meals
- Operates the dishwashing machine, using the correct temperature for washing and rinsing and pot washing equipments during and after meal periods
- Cleans dishwashing machine and turns it off after night service
- Cleans and mops kitchen(s)/restaurant(s) before meal periods, checks for broken items on the floor and for wet areas, and removes any hazards
- Removes containers from food production areas before meal periods
- Stores clean chinaware on shelves and remove and clean bins in the kitchen
- Cleans croqueries, using adequate chemical products on a weekly basis
- Supervises the cleanliness of rack areas and helps coordinate the cleaning of restaurant areas.
EXPERIENCE
1 - 2 years in a similar position
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- High levels of integrity;
- Willingness to work during odd hours, weekends as well as on public holidays;
- Valid Food Handlers’ Certificate;
- A clean certificate of character is a must.
