Ouc client is seeking to recruit a person who will be conducting authentic food tours across the island. We are looking for someone charismatic, a food lover and sociable person.

Responsibilities:

. Guide client groups and conduct informative tours at each venue in a friendly, passionate and enthusiastic manner

. Demonstrate leadership skills, and manage health and safety in a tour context

. Work with our partners at each venue to create the best experience for our visitors

. Manage the booking platforms and keep records of guest reservations

. Liaise with guests and respond to any queries

. Perform other administrative tasks in the office

Profile:

. HSC, BAC or equivalent school leaving qualifications

. Experience working directly with clients

. Passionate about Mauritius, its culture and its history

. Ability to present information in interesting ways

. Good memory for facts, figures and events

. Excellent communication skills in English, French and Creole - both written and spoken

. Proficient in the Microsoft Office package, especially MS Word, Excel, MS PowerPoint
