Academic qualifications:
Minimum qualification –NTC 3 or equivalent (Mechanical / Electrical)
Duties
- Ensure that mechanical equipment is maintained to the manufacturer’s tolerances.
- Read schematics, diagrams, and technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly or repairs
- Align, fit, and assemble component parts, using hand tools, power tools, fixtures and templates.
- Make calculations and estimates, and then report findings to supervisor.
- Carry out preventive maintenance.
- Work on the refurbishment and re-build of existing hardware.
- Use precision measuring tools.
- Support any investigations.
- Clear away equipment after it has been used.
- Comply with site safety standards at all times.
- Report all accidents and incidents to supervisor
- Prepare drawings of mechanical products.
Key skills and competencies
Having at least 2 years working experience in the field
- Should have a valid driving licence

- Possessing many industry-recognised qualifications in an Electro-Mechanical discipline.
