Role
To be selling the suite of services under the company/group divisions (offshore + mid shore jurisdictions).
Responsibilities
Client Services:
- A newly created role to proactively grow the client and revenue base of company formations division from Mauritius and broader African region
- Focus on building relationships and winning work from key professional intermediary clients within the trust corporate & fund service providers, banking, accounting, and legal sector.
- This is predominantly a Greenfield / start-up role but the person shall be based in a 30 person full service office of the company in Mauritius.
- Sell the full suite of services under the company formations division including company formations (offshore + mid shore jurisdictions) plus a range of technical and corporate services such as Company Secretarial support, Bank Account Opening and Corporate Directorships.
- Manage the sales process from beginning to end providing effective advice to support business growth and ultimately converting leads into loyal clients
- All account management, client servicing and “technical” support to be provided by the existing team in 2 other countries.
- Provide market information to the marketing team and assist in the creation of effective marketing ideas and business development plan.
- Cross-sell services of other the company group divisions and offices with a view to expand wallet share of clients.
Profile
- Preferably based in Mauritius
- Experience in the broader Offshore industry (Company Formations, Corporate Services, Trusts etc) will be highly advantageous
- 7 – 10 years’ business development experience within the Trust & corporate services sector
- Lawyers and / or Accountants wanting to move into a predominantly sales / client relationship role will be highly considered
- Existing relationships & networks within Mauritius, South Africa/wider African region
- Strong network of senior level contacts with financial services & corporate services sector
- Personal connections with the high net worth communities
- A target driven mind set with outstanding negotiation and communication skills
- Creative, independent and self-motivated
- Excellent written and spoken English, additional languages will be beneficial
- Degree qualified in Administration either at Bachelor or Masters level
