The Financial Controller is responsible to maintain control over income, expenses and assets of the Hotel in compliance with the Hotel policies and procedures as well as local requirements.
- Organise and maintain the department at the highest level of financial control and audit standards.
- Maintain and improve the profitability of the hotel through strict revenue and cost controls procedures as well as safeguarding of hotel assets.
- Ensure timely management information and reporting, meeting requiring deadlines.
- Provide the operation with the necessary cash needs to cover it's commitments through proper collections and disbursement procedures or funds requests from the Management with whom he keeps a permanent line of communication in cash flow matters.
- Co-ordinate, project and prepare with management budget forecasts, profit programming, projects and cost analysis thereby contributing towards a more profitable organisation.
- Supervise the maintenance of and coordinate with Head Office and the General Manager all Hotel accounting procedures and control in compliance with policies & procedures as well as local requirements
