To assist the Restaurant Manager in planning, implementing, organising and co-ordinating the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant on a daily basis
1. To ensure that any orders, or decisions taken by the Restaurant Manager are strictly followed up.
2. To ensure that all SOP(s) are properly implemented and carried out efficiently.
3. To maintain effective and cordial guests relations and to take the initiative to achieve service excellence.
4. To converse with guests whenever possible to obtain feedback and suggestion for improvement.
5. To assist the Restaurant Manager in supervising activities of staff, to implement job allocations and to ensure an effective assistance to guests.
6. To reserve tables as per the restaurant policy.
7. To ensure good work relations with other departments in the restaurant.
