Our client, provider of industrial equipment, is looking for a Sales Coordinator.
Our client, provider of industrial equipment, is looking for a Sales Coordinator.
The successful candidate will maintain and develop relationships with existing and new customers and work closely with the Sales Director.
Main responsibilities:
- Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale.
- Help & Guide the customer in the choice of a product.
- Become specialist in the sales of company products.
- Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
- Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with customer.
- Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy.
- Follow up of orders with the customer service team.
- Monitor the team’s progress, identify shortcomings and propose improvements.
- Liaising with foreign suppliers to check the progress of existing orders.
- Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations.
- Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with manufacturer.
- Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales director.
- Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements.
- Take ownership of customer’s issues and follow problems through to resolution.
- Request assistance from the manufacturers.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Sales and Marketing
- Proven experience of 3 years’ minimum in a relevant position.
Candidate profile:
- Knowledge of relevant computer applications (Excel, Pastel).
- Knowledge of principles and practices of sales.
- Knowledge of customer service principle.
- Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques.
- Proficiency in English and French (written and spoken).
- Notion of logistics (incoterm).
- Notion of import.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
- Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
- Dynamic, enthusiastic, assertive personality and easy communicator.

- Flexible in working hours (ability to work until late – 6.30/7.00pm)
