Adecco, an international HR Solutions service provider, is currently looking for a Credit Controller to join one of their client's teams. Functioning in the service sector, situated in the region of Pailles, Port Louis
Our client, a well establish company in the service industry, is looking for a Credit Controller.
Reporting to the finance manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for a healthy debtors’ management.
Main Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage debt collection
- Issuing of statements to clients using established guidelines, deadlines, procedures and process driven methodology
- Ensure payment plans with customers are adhered to
- Resolution of queries to facilitate payments from customers
- Prioritise and manage a challenging workload whilst maintaining a high level of customer service and satisfaction
- Liaison and communication with internal departments as required to maintain an accurate position on customer accounts
- Ensure that all prepared communications are accurately recorded/documented in a timely manner
- Preparation of files for debt collection agencies
- Attending court cases when required
- Ensure monthly reports & processing deadlines are met as required
- Assist in ad-hoc duties as required
Qualifications:
- ACCA partly qualified or relevant qualification
Candidate Profile:
- 3+ year relevant experience and a proven track record in debt collection.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
- Deadline focused with ability to work under pressure, odd hours & prioritise tasks
- Competence in Microsoft Office products and accounting software programmes
- Ability to reconcile complex accounts and have excellent attention to detail
- Ability to deal with difficult customers in a calm & confident manner
- Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels
