Junior Product Control Analyst (Intern) - (2613-JPCA)

Our client, an investment management company is seeking to recruit a high-calibre Junior Product Analyst (Intern) to join its Mauritius office. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across trading support, product control and performance analysis.

The successful candidate will play an integral role in supporting investment operations while building a strong foundation in asset management.  Opportunity to convert to a full-time employee upon meeting performance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Execute and monitor trades in accordance with the funds' investment strategies and risk guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records and produce timely reports for management.
• Perform daily cash and position reconciliation.
• Update performance data, including returns, attribution analysis and factsheets.
• Assist in the preparation of cash flow, budgets and financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and operational procedures.
• Assist team members and provide support functions.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as required.

Profile:

• Fresh graduates or candidates with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong academic background in finance, accounting, economics or related field.
• Good understanding of financial markets and trading principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft MS Office, including Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
