We are looking for an internal sales administrator.

 

Expanded Key Responsibilities

  • Precision Quoting (High Volume): Maintain a 24-hour turnaround for all export quotes (approx. 20+ per day). You will use the Gemini GEM to ensure technical accuracy and provide data sheets to clients when required.
  • Strategic Expediting & Reporting: Attend weekly production meetings to monitor order progress. You are responsible for providing daily updates on critical orders and immediately communicating status changes to international stakeholders.
  • Response Excellence: Address all incoming queries within a 60-minute window.
  • Compliance & Technical Oversight: Ensure all quotes align with international trade regulations, shipping legislation, and Incoterms. While you won't generate the final SAD500 or BOL, you must understand them to coordinate effectively with the logistics department.
  • Internal Accountability: Actively "challenge constructively" and influence team spirit to ensure production and warehouse teams meet export deadlines.

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 5–10 years in export sales management with hands-on knowledge of Export KPIs. Experience in the mining or industrial sector (APAC/EMEA focus) is highly preferred.
  • Technical Savvy: While Syspro and Zoho are not mandatory, the candidate must be fully computer literate with strong mathematical skills and an ability to learn ERP/CRM systems quickly.
  • Language: English and French
