System Administrator

Ensure the availability, security, and proper functioning of IT systems and infrastructure at the branch and on assigned vessels, guaranteeing full compliance with Corporate standards while supporting local operations.

• Administration of servers, systems, backups, and UPS devices at the branch and on vessels.
• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of workstations and local applications.
• Monitoring and supervision of IT infrastructure operations.
• Supporting budget preparation by providing technical input.
• Technical Support – Level 1/2, Level 1: Initial troubleshooting and resolution of user-reported incidents for offices and vessels, including workstation, application, and basic network issues. Level 2: Diagnosis and resolution of incidents.
• Implementation of Corporate IT guidelines and procedures for systems, networks, and security.
• Local AD / Messaging Management (within delegated scope), Creation and first-level management of user accounts, distribution of local policies, access control according to delegation.
• Perform IT support and maintenance for vessels under the local perimeter.
• Execute technical troubleshooting and maintenance on vessels under branch responsibility.
• Implement and maintain satellite links and onboard networks, ensuring proper operation and connectivity.
• Supervision of satellite links, VPNs, and dedicated lines to vessels and offices.
• Reporting technical anomalies and coordinating with Corporate IT and service providers.
• Inventory management, hardware renewal, and local license administration.
• Documentation & Projects: Preparation of local technical documentation, Support for infrastructure projects and upgrades.
