This isn’t a role where you’ll be stuck behind a desk all day. You will be the pulse of our compliance efforts, blending technical science with people skills to ensure our workplace is safe and our products are top-tier.
We are looking for an energetic Health and Safety Coordinator to join our QHSE (Quality, Health & Safety, and Environment) team. Whether you are a fresh graduate or have a year of experience under your belt, we want someone who doesn't just see a "risk" but sees a "solution".
Your Impact Areas
The Safety Guardian (Health & Safety)
- Eyes on the Ground: Assist with workplace inspections and risk assessments. You’ll be the one spotting the "what-ifs" before they happen.
- Policy Champion: Support the enforcement of OHS policies to keep our team protected and our standards high.
- Incident Tracking: Help us turn near-misses into learning moments by tracking corrective actions and investigations.
The Standard-Bearer (Quality & Environmental)
- Quality Control: Support the rollout of ISO and FSSC systems. You’ll be a key player in reviewing SOPs and production records to ensure we deliver excellence.
The Educator (Training & Culture)
- Engage the Team: Lead toolbox talks and safety inductions. We don’t want "boring"—we want training that actually sticks.
- Record Keeping: Maintain the "source of truth" for all QHSE documentation and training logs.
The Optimizer (Continuous Improvement)
- Fresh Perspective: We want your ideas. You’ll identify gaps in our current systems and suggest ways to make our processes leaner, safer and better.
Who You Are
- Education: You hold a Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety or a related field.
- The "Safety Mindset": You have strong analytical skills and can spot a hazard from a mile away.
- Communicator: You can translate complex regulations into simple, actionable advice for the team.
- Hungry to Learn: You’re eager to dive into QHSE initiatives and grow your career within a structured environment.
