Assistant LPG Operator

We are seeking highly motivated and dynamic individuals for the position of Assistant LPG Operator to assist with LPG transfer operations.

Key Responsibilities:

🔧 Operations:

• Assist in LPG transfer operations, including ship to shore operations.
• Participate in preparation of work procedures. 

🚨 Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure safe operation of the Terminal.
• Follow-up of SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality) plan and ensure adhesion to procedures, policies, rules and regulations.
• Participate in drills – medical/leaks/fire/joint drills with authorities, as well as risk assessment process.
• Incident reporting.

📊 Maintenance:

• Follow-up on maintenance plan.
• Ensure proper filing of inspections/maintenance documents and checklists.
• Ensure proper housekeeping throughout the Terminal, including workshop, electrical and switch rooms.
• Assist in spare parts management.
• Assist in preparation of Opex and Capex budget.

📝 Contractor Coordination:

• Follow-up with contractors for intervention on site.
• Maintain good relationship with PML contractors and all stakeholders.

Who We're Looking For:

🎓 Education:

• School Certificate.
• Knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical or welding systems.

💼 Experience:

• 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Experience in oil/gas related business is preferred.

⚙️ Skills & Attributes:

• Comfortable working in a facility environment with industrial hazards and varying temperatures.
• Good communication skills in both English and French.
• Valid driving licence.
• Valid certificate of character.
• Ability to work night shifts and weekend shifts.
