Merchandiser

Aryze is seeking a proactive Merchandiser to ensure FMCG products are well-stocked, displayed, and rotated in retail outlets. The role requires attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to build strong retailer relationships.

• Carry out on-trade and retail shop visits daily according to route planning.

• Replenish and rotate stock on shelves, till points, and secondary locations using FEFO/FIFO (First Expiry/First Out or First In/First Out) method.

• Monitor expiry/consumption dates on perishable items and provide feedback at least 2 months before expiry.

• Ensure merchandise is neatly displayed with proper signage, price tags, and favorable shelf placement.

• Execute planograms and maintain the correct number of facings.

• Set up promotions and special displays in retail shops as per marketing instructions.

• Remove damaged or expired products from shelves promptly.

• Ensure older stock is sold first (FIFO/FEFO) to reduce wastage.

• Inform supervisors or sales teams when stock is low or anomalies are detected.

• Check competitor products, pricing, and promotions in retail shops.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with retail shop owners and Supermarket.

• Submit daily or weekly reports on stock levels, displays, and issues observed.

• Promptly raise any non-conformities or safety concerns to the Head of Department, respecting safety, health, environment, and quality standards.
