Responsible for leading the strategy, planning, and flawless execution of all brand and trade events for the company.This role drives the creation of memorable, consumer-centric experiences that strengthen brand equity and support commercial objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement an annual events strategy aligned with brand, trade, and business objectives.
  • Champion innovation in experiential marketing, ensuring events deliver excitement, differentiation, and measurable impact.
  • Define KPIs to evaluate event effectiveness and continuously enhance experience quality.

End-to-End Event Management

  • Lead the full lifecycle of events—including conceptualisation, planning, design, execution, and post-event evaluation.
  • Oversee venue selection, event design, entertainment, logistics, staffing, and experience flow.
  • Ensure all events adhere to brand guidelines, quality standards, and legal/regulatory requirements.

Budget & Resource Management

  • Own and manage the events budget end-to-end.
  • Prepare cost projections, negotiate costs, track spending, and ensure financial efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimisation without compromising quality.

Stakeholder, Customer & Supplier Engagement

  • Serve as the primary liaison with internal teams, customers, trade partners, suppliers, and agencies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, venue partners, production houses, and promotional agencies.
  • Ensure all partners are aligned, contracted, and delivering to expectations.

Team & Vendor Leadership

  • Lead and develop an events team (where applicable), fostering creativity, accountability, and high performance.
  • Manage external agencies, ensuring top-tier output on design, production, and event execution.
  • Oversee event staff training to ensure smooth and professional on-ground operations.

Compliance, Safety & Risk Management

  • Ensure all events comply with health & safety regulations and company risk management protocols.
  • Develop contingency plans to mitigate operational or consumer-related risks.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field.
  • 7–10+ years of progressive experience in event management, ideally within FMCG, beverages, lifestyle, or entertainment sectors.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-impact events and activations.
  • Strong creative and conceptual skills with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent project and budget management capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and people-management experience.
  • Proficiency with event management tools, budgeting software, and presentation platforms
