As part of Protection and Resilience, the Global Incident Management (GIM) function, located within   Allianz Mauritius, performs security monitoring around the clock and manages incidents for entities out of the Allianz Group. It operates on 24/7 shifts alongside other operators for potential and active threats to keep Allianz’s people, assets, business continuity and high standing reputation safe around in today’s complex and everchanging environment.

The GIM Senior Analyst role is responsible for incident initial assessment and notification to appropriate stakeholders and communication with leadership to ensure an end-to-end incident management process is flawlessly carried out until incident closure. The role will involve working within a motivated team to deliver best-in class service in Protection & Resilience for global customers that fulfills regulatory and  internal requirements.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Information Technology, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
  • Above 1 year of experience in security monitoring, incident management, crisis coordination, or related operations (global/regional exposure is a plus)
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
  • Calm under pressure; decisive, structured, customer-focused; effective in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with cross-cultural collaboration and virtual teamwork.
  • Willing and able to work rotating 24/7 shifts (nights, weekends, public holidays).
  • Familiarity with NIS2, DORA, and ITIL is beneficial.

Skills :

  • Technical:
    • Incident triage and impact assessment;
    • Advisory writing; documentation discipline
    • Use of monitoring and critical communications platforms (Dataminr, Everbridge)
    • Familiarity with case/ticketing (e.g., ServiceNow)
    • basic data/reporting literacy (e.g., Excel/Power BI)
    • Basic geo/asset mapping
  • Analytical:
    • Critical thinking, prioritization, noise reduction, and pattern recognition
  • Communication:
    • Clear, concise summaries for leadership and stakeholders; appropriate tone and audience targeting

   Key responsibilities :

  • Monitor global risk signals 24/7; triage and assess severity using defined thresholds
  • Conduct continuous 24/7 security monitoring to identify and assess potential threats to Allianz personnel, assets, and operations worldwide.
  • Perform initial incident assessments and notify relevant stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate communication with leadership
  • Facilitate end-to-end incident management, including stakeholder identification, incident ownership assignment, and routing critical information to expert functions.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure incidents are resolved efficiently and closed according to internal and regulatory standards.
  • Support proactive threat intelligence by utilizing advanced security monitoring tools and diverse information resources.
  • Writing incident reports.

Working Shifts :

  • 07h00 – 16h00 (Morning Shift)
  • 15h00 – 00h00 (Evening Shift)
  • 23h00 – 08h00 (Night Shift)
