We are actively looking for a Handyman who will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, maintenance and installation tasks to ensure that the premises, equipment, facilities and dormitories are kept in good working order.
What you will be doing:
Plumbing Maintenance:
Carry out basic plumbing repairs including fixing leaks, replacing taps, unclogging drains, and maintaining water systems
Inspect and repair toilets, sinks, showers, and other plumbing fixtures
Assist in maintaining water pumps, heaters
Conduct routine building inspections to identify areas needing repair or improvement
Perform carpentry tasks such as repairing doors, windows, furniture, and fittings
Paint and refinish walls, surfaces, and furniture as required
Assemble or relocate furniture and equipment
Carry out minor masonry and tiling works
Maintain outdoor areas, walkways, and storage spaces
Preventive and Safety Maintenance:
Follow preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and utilities
Ensure tools and maintenance materials are properly stored and in good working order
Observe all safety, health, and environmental regulations
Report potential hazards or unsafe conditions immediately
Proven experience in maintenance, repair, or technical work
Solid understanding of basic plumbing systems
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and effectively
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or emergencies if required
