To manage and supervise installation, repair and servicing of furniture, fixtures and equipment and to assist the Maintenance Manager in planning and implementing the smooth and efficient operation of the department.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

•To assist the Maintenance Manager in planning, implementing, organising and co-ordinating the smooth and efficient operation of the Maintenance department on a daily basis. 
•To read and take immediate action on report relating to Maintenance from Maintenance Manager. 
•Manages and supervises installation, repair and servicing of furniture, fixtures and equipment. 
•Inspects and maintain facilities; gives direction to and evaluates work of the departmental personnel 
•Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

•2 - 4 years of experience in hotel industry at Supervisory level.
•Diploma from a recognised institution, majoring in Engineering or equivalent major
•Strong Leadership and organizational skills. 
•Readiness to perform odd hours of work, including Sundays, Public Holidays, Cyclonic Day and Special Days, i.e. Christmas’ & New Year’s Eve, etc…
•Strong analytical, interpersonal skills
