Store Clerk

To assist the Storekeeper in the effective discharge of the store duties

Job Position : Store Clerk

Key Responsibilities

-  Process delivery note of stock items on the Accounting System

-  Assist in checking the quality of products received and delivered

-  Assist in regular physical inventory by counting stock

-  Attend to customers’ queries and needs

-  Ensure that all products are stacked properly as per instructions  

-  Ensure that the store and all related areas are kept clean and tidy at all times

-  Participate in stock take

-  Follow Health & Safety requirements

-  Be well groomed and wears his Personal Protective Equipment when required

-  Participates in all drills and risk assessment exercises.

-  Monitor attendance of store men and drivers

-  Any cognate duties

Qualifications

-  School Certificate or equivalent     

-  Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a warehouse environment.

-  Analytical mind with ability to make accurate mathematical computations.

-  Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time.

-  Skills to operate common office equipment and computer literate.

-  Ability to work under pressure and team oriented.
