You will lead end-to-end projects within the bank, ensuring alignment with the business transformation road map and the bank’s strategic objectives. You will manage project teams and collaborate with internal/external stakeholder to ensure the coordination, tracking and delivery of projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project management for business transformation initiatives, from initiation through to execution and delivery.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
- Conduct thorough analysis and assessment of current processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Implement change management strategies to drive adoption and ensure successful integration of new processes and technologies.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project status, achievements, and challenges to senior management and key stakeholders.
Technical skills, Knowledge & Competencies:
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and a certification in Project Management is a plus.
- Excellent planning, communication and presentation skills to build and manage clear timelines, assess risks/issues, and articulate key messages to all stakeholders including senior-level steering committees.
- Structured, disciplined approach to capturing requirements, identifying, and resolving issues, and managing project activities.
- Ability to effectively interact with all levels of business and technology personnel, including management and end users, providing guidance, support, and detailed documentation.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in project management, particularly in leading business/digital transformation initiatives within the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of banking operations, processes, and regulatory requirements.
